Elmwood Books is a private internal tool operated by Elmwood Digital, LLC ("we", "us"). It has no external users.
The application accesses accounting data in the QuickBooks Online company owned and controlled by Elmwood Digital, LLC, including chart of accounts, transactions, vendors, customers, and financial reports.
Data is used solely for internal bookkeeping, transaction categorization, financial review, and tax preparation for Elmwood Digital, LLC.
Data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. It may be shared with our accountant for the purpose of preparing our tax filings.
Authentication credentials are stored locally on company-controlled hardware with restricted file permissions. No accounting data is stored on public servers or made publicly accessible.
Access can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the application from within QuickBooks Online, which invalidates all tokens. Local copies of any exported data are deleted on request.
